The National Student Employability Index is India's first comprehensive student employability measurement system. It works like a credit score — just as CIBIL aggregates your financial behaviour into a single number that banks trust, NSEI aggregates a student's academic performance, practical skills, project quality, communication ability, interview readiness, and professional experience into a single employability score that recruiters trust. Every student who goes through the NSEI system receives three numbers: an NSEI Score (0-100) that measures their competency across seven pillars, a Trust Score (0.75x to 1.15x) that validates the authenticity of their work, and a Final Hiring Score that combines both. The system also maps each student's scores against industry job roles — showing them exactly how ready they are for positions like Software Developer, Product Manager, Data Analyst, or QA Engineer — and what specific skills to improve to close the gap.
